Making Valentines.....

We decided to do something a bit different this year. Instead of passing out candy we made our own crayons. I subscribe to Family Fun magazine and found this in last issue. If you haven't melted your own crayons you have got to try this. Here is a tutorial.
My Mom the hoarder that she is...(seriously she saves EVERYTHING.) Had kept a huge bag of crayons that were mine when I was little. This is a 2lb baggie. So Bethany and I dug out all the pretty crayons to melt. So save those crayons! :) Oh and you can add glitter!!!!!! Everything is better when sparkly. :)
My friend Lisa had posted a link to this blog, the long thread and I found this little card to print out to put the crayons on. It say's "Have a colorful Valentine's Day." We stuck the heart shaped crayons on and packaged them all up.
I was hoping on not including candy, (I'm a bit of a freak and really dislike all the food colorings, corn syrup, etc in candy) I compromised with Bethany and we attached some Yummy Earth lollipops. If you haven't bought these try them. They are a bit pricey but they are delicious and free of all that other horrible ingredients that's in regular candy.

Off to bed it's been a long day! Night. :)
